Uzes

The city of Uzès is full of heritage and architectural treasures. The Duchy and the Cathedral deserve at least a small detour.

Nîmes, Avignon, Montpellier, Arles ... At about an hour

Uzès is an ideal starting point to discover some famous cities of the South of France: Nîmes is at 35 minutes, Avignon at 45 minutes, Arles at 50 minutes, Montpellier at a little more than one hour of road.

An exceptional site The Cévennes National Park

Staying in Uzès, you are not very far from the gateway to the Cévennes National Park. Its biodiversity, its fauna, its flora, its sources, its landscapes and its inhabitants make it a unique and completely exotic place. It is a paradise for lovers of hiking and horse riding or aficionados of roaming mountain bike. Disconnection ensured, in an exceptional setting.

Gourmet treasures Black truffle and Uzès wine

Every year, on the third Sunday of January, Uzès hosts the truffle weekend, run by amateurs and connoisseurs. Great starred chefs come specially to cook the black truffle. Also, Uzès is famous for its wines. Since 2013, the Duchy of Uzes, belonging to the vineyards of the Rhone Valley, is a registered designation of origin. Your hosts will be happy to advise producers.
